A wide range of courses are available at Sparsholt College, providing qualifications and training for professionals and adult learners.
Courses run at different levels from introductory tasters through to degree courses, but you won’t necessarily need to go back to the beginning. You may have skills and experience from work that enable you to start a qualification at a higher level than you might have expected.
From August 2013, 24+ Advanced Learning Loans will be available to learners aged 24 and above to fund many Level 3 and 4 courses such as Diplomas, Extended Diplomas and Apprenticeships. The loans will cover tuition fees and are paid back once the course is completed and you are earning more than £21,000 a year, so there is no upfront cost.
Industry certificates and introductory courses are covered in a day, or sometimes over few days.
Foundation degree and BSc degree courses can be taken part-time; usually one or two days at college over three or more years.
Full-time courses can be completed over one or two years, and even these courses include half or full days off during the week, allowing you flexibility to plan your learning and home life.
Come and talk to us. Course Information Days throughout the year provide the opportunity to talk to our academic and support teams – as well as getting the chance to tour the facilities (click here for course information day dates). Return to Learning seminars focus on themes that we find common to adult students. The College Careers Adviser is available to anyone for one-to-one appointments and advice.
