Some of our Sport, Outdoor Education and Public Services students from both our Sparsholt and Andover campuses recently spent the week in the Alpe D’Huez in France for this year’s ski trip. It was the 7th consecutive year the department have taken students skiing and another fantastic week was had by all. Conditions were perfect with lots of fresh snow early in the week followed by 4 days of blue skies and sunshine!

The Alpe D’Huez resort is perfect for skiers of all abilities with some fantastic long green and blue runs for beginners and a number of highly challenging pistes for our advanced skiers including the La Sarenne, the longest black run in Europe at 22km long! Plans are already being put in place for next year’s trip.
