Our strong industry links, expert staff and outstanding natural facilities make Sparsholt College a natural choice for the study of habitat and rural resources management. Conservation is at the heart of everything we do and our courses provide an entry into the industry for school leavers and adults seeking career change.

The College is investing in a new range of renewable technologies such as an anaerobic digester and a wind turbine, which will provide an opportunity for students on a number of courses to understand the technology behind such initiatives.

Student Story

I absolutely love that Sparsholt is in the countryside and although it’s big, it isn’t intimidating - everyone is very welcoming. The lecturers are so supportive about my dyslexia and the study support centre is great, I got all the extra help I needed. I’m now working with a conservation company, but my ultimate dream is to set up a bat hospital.
