Situated within the College grounds, Sparsholt Day Nursery provides a safe and creative environment with opportunities for children to visit the many exciting attractions on the campus including:
The children are in the capable hands of four nursery staff who are fully qualified and hold current first aid certificates. All staff have been chosen for their caring and understanding attitudes with small children and for their endless energy and patience. Inside the Nursery is separate provision for under two-year olds. They can play, develop their creativity, explore and extend their imagination with a wide range of equipment and activities designed to meet their younger needs. A separate rest room with cots is close by for those tired moments. Older children enjoy the messy room for activities such as play dough, paint, gloop, sand, water and cooking. The children may use the home corner, dress up or play with the huge range of equipment designed to encourage their development. Children may choose to discover their creative skills with the many construction toys available or make music with the musical instruments. For quieter moments we have a book area well stocked with comfy cushions. All refreshments and meals throughout the day are included in the fees. This consists of a light mid-morning snack, a two course cooked lunch provided by the college catering staff and a high tea prepared in the Nursery.
