First Aid for Dogs and Cats

The aim of this one day course is to provide a comprehensive guide to First Aid for Dogs and Cats. The course has been accepted by the Canine Hydro Therapy Association. Teaching will be a mixture of practical and theory and will be provided by a veterinary nurse. This is a popular course and additional dates may be added. It is also possible to tailor First Aid as a bespoke course for your business or organisation.

Course features include:

  • Treatment for cuts, burns/scalds, fractures, poisons, electrocution, heat stroke and drowning
  • Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
  • Handling, restraining, bandaging, application of pressure pads and general examination
