Deer Stalking Certificate Level 2 (Distance Learning)
This is a practically based qualification which is open to those who have taken the Level 1 Deer Stalking course. it enables candidates to demonstrate their knowledge and competence in legally, safely and humanely culling deer and dealing with carcasses hygienically.
The course is assessed on the basis of evidence that you collate and record in a portfolio.
By the end of the course you should be able to:
Know the techniques required to successfully and humanely stalk deer
Understand the equipment required to stalk deer in all situations in the UK
Understand the diseases and inspection techniques to hygienically process carcasses
