Courses Available: Equine Studies and Horse Management
Praised for its training of practical, instructional staff and stable managers, the British Horse Society-approved Equine Centre at Sparsholt College has become a regular venue for shows, dressage events and training hire, so popular are its facilities.
The Events programme provides opportunities for our students to gain valuable industry experience, without interfering with their studies. Our students are after all, our first-line customers. In the last few years, these high standard facilities have expanded to include:
-
Large, top quality indoor arena, in regular use for student training and events.
-
Three outdoor arenas, for rider training and event warm-ups.
-
Variety of stabling facilities, including traditional, American barn and modern stabling for 70 horses.
-
Range of outdoor paddocks for summer grazing.
-
Large, tarmac-surfaced, events vehicle park.
-
Horse walker .
-
Grass rides and cross country fences.
-
Equine weighbridge.
The Equine Centre at Sparsholt College has been included within London 2012's
