TV presenter Nick Knowles and a crew from BBC Real Rescues, were recently at the Sparsholt College campus filming for the hit TV show.   The series follows the day-to-day work of the emergency services and on this occasion it was Hampshire Fire and Rescue Rural Unit in the spotlight.  The programmes will be aired on Monday 16 and Monday 23 November at 9.15am on BBC1.

The Sparsholt episodes focused on how the rescue service operate in certain events and how the College provides training for these occasions.  Topical TV Ltd, makers of the BBC Show filmed a number of training scenarios including catching an escaped horse and boxing it, lifting a cow plus pig handling. 

Footage from the Sparsholt filming will feature alongside real animal rescues that Topical TV filmed with Hampshire Fire and Rescue.
