Student Transport

Getting to the College

Training at a specialised vocational college does usually involve a daily journey of some distance or residential living, unless you are one of the few who happens to live close by.

Daily travel for non-resident students is made easier with the introduction of train and bus passes plus private coaches. These passes are heavily subsidised and prices represent very good value for money in comparison with alternative means of transport.

Students have the opportunity to buy a train pass from Southampton, Eastleigh, Totton and Basingstoke. (All available train passes are shown within the Travel information sheet below). The cost of the pass includes a No.7 Stagecoach bus pass for travel between Winchester Train Station and the College (15 minutes).

Sparsholt College also provides Campus Direct buses and coaches from all over Hampshire and its borders, including Aldershot, Salisbury, Amesbury, Fordingbridge, Gosport, Lymington, Portswood, Thatcham, Ringwood, Tadley, Havant, Waterlooville, Wickham/Bishops Waltham and Bursledon. This service comes directly onto the College campus every academic day (the main stops are shown within the Travel information sheet below).

There is usually parking available if you need to travel by car or bike. All vehicles must be registered to park on campus, and permits can be obtained from Student Services.
