Sparsholt College Hampshire is recognised worldwide for its expertise in providing fishery studies training. With unrivalled onsite facilities such as the nationally renowned Aquatic Training Centre (NATC), the Salmonid Rearing and Trials Centre (SRTC), the Sparsholt Fishery and dissection laboratories, students gain real industry experience to take them from school leaver courses through to Masters level.
Our lecturing staff are the known to be the experts in the industry and can often be found on Korda and Carp TV discussing the latest techniques and their supporting research. The STRC is a research and development facility that is used our undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as some of the largest fish food manufacturers in Britain.
