There is still time to join us at University Centre Sparsholt this September through clearing. Every year, students find their ideal course in UCAS Clearing or Adjustment. It give you another opportunity to find the best course for you – whether you’ve changed your mind, your results surprised you or you’re just starting to think about starting university this year.
Our courses range from Applied Animal Science, Zoo Biology and Equine to Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, Aquaculture and Fishery Management, Marine Ecology and Conservation and Veterinary Nursing Science.
Clearing 2022 opens on Monday 5 July, contact us in the first instance and we can guide you through the process and discuss your options – our friendly admissions team are here to help.
Clearing gives you another opportunity to find a place at university this September.
You can apply for a Clearing place if you want to study at university, but are not holding a place and/or have not met the conditions of your offers.
Organised by UCAS, Clearing is designed to help students who:
Anyone can apply directly to us through Clearing, even if you hold an offer from another university or you haven’t applied through UCAS yet.
If you applied for a course at University Centre Sparsholt and were unsuccessful, but you now meet the entry requirements for your chosen course, you can also apply through Clearing
If you’re from outside the UK or EU, you can’t apply for Clearing through UCAS but you will be able to apply to us directly.
Clearing starts from July onwards (or as soon as you have all your qualification results). Adjustment doesn’t start until A-level results are published in August.

Note: your eligibility for Clearing will show up on your UCAS Trackpage and you will know if you’re in Clearing if your UCAS Track status says ‘You are in Clearing’ or ‘Clearing has started’. This will also be where you will find your Clearing Number (universities will need this so that they can access your application) and the ‘Add a Clearing choice‘ button.
