What will I learn?
On this work based learning programme you will study principles of business administration to gain a broader understanding of the workplace and how your role fits into the strategic aims of your organisation. You will also have the opportunity to develop your project management and communication skills.
In addition to this there is a choice of optional units so you can specialise in developing your IT skills or specialist areas such as HR, marketing or sales.
Where will it lead me?
You may wish to move onto more specific areas of study such as accounting or leadership and management. All the skills and knowledge learnt are extremely transferable to other roles as well as further study.
You will need to be in a role where you perform business administration activity (much of your work will relate to your own work experience). You will need to be qualified or experienced to Level 2 in English and have good IT skills.
Admission to the course is through interview and there may be some initial assessment.
