What will I learn?
As the number of hybrid and electric vehicles increases, the challenges placed on garages and first responders has grown. These vehicles pose complexities when involved in accidents or, in very rare cases, malfunction. As a rule, the first responders are the first to come into contact but only with the right know-how can they avoid endangering their own lives and those of others involved. This course is designed to provide first responders with the knowledge to safely secure and shutdown the vehicle and reduce risks to those in the area.

Please Note
Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started their course.
