What will I learn?
Candidates will learn how to navigate Guidance Note 3, and answer questions relating to the Inspection, Testing, and Fault finding on electrical circuits.
They will learn both the theory and practical aspects of inspection & testing.
Candidates will also be shown in-depth calculations e.g. sizing of conductors, calculating current demand, diversity, and application of theory to practical Inspection and Testing, as well as fault finding diagnostics, to name but a few.
Delegates will need to bring a copy of the following to the course:
A scientific non-programmable calculator
British Standard BS 7671:2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations . IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition ISBN 1785611704, published by The Institute of Engineering and Technology and BSI.
