Environmental conservation is a wide ranging and expanding industry which encompasses the rural and urban conservation of landscapes, habitats, species, countryside access and recreation. It aims to promote awareness and understanding and enjoyment of the environment. Work could be as a warden or ranger on a nature reserve or national park or with a charity on a conservation project.

The ideal apprentice will have a keen interest in conservation and wildlife issues and enjoy working outdoors, practical tasks, be good at communicating and good at working as part of a team.
