Introduction

With 1 in 4 people in the UK experiencing a mental health problem each year, supporting employee wellbeing is increasingly being taken more seriously by businesses.

Promoting good mental health at work can reduce the costs associated with stress and poor mental health through absence and reduced productivity; estimated to be £26 billion a year.

In 2016, the charity Mind will be introducing the Workplace Wellbeing Index, to recognize mentally healthy workplaces; this course will support businesses to take a proactive approach to promoting good mental health at work.

This informative and interactive course, delivered by Mind Andover, is designed to help team leaders and managers support employees mental wellbeing; recognise signs and symptoms of mental health problems, and learn how to plan for, and conduct, conversations around mental health well-being.
