What will I learn?
This short course will suit all who would like to explore the wonders of drawing and painting. It is suitable for those who have little experience or those who have not drawn or painted for a while, but also those who have some experience. Students will receive personalised advice and demonstrations on techniques will take place to help the learning process.
This will be a 10 week course to equip students with the basic skills to help them develop their skills and confidence in using a variety of art materials, from pencils, charcoals, pastels and other dry media, to acrylic paints. Also students will be shown how to transition from basic drawing towards using colour and paint effectively.
The course will start with an introduction to still-life, then move onto the face and human figure, and finally touch upon landscape during the last two weeks. This will form a great grounding for students who wish to pursue their art further!
