What will I learn?
Not sure how to plan an event or even where to start? Every event is unique and has its own purpose. You have to stay organised and gain a clear understanding of your resources. There can be an endless number of factors that change from one event to the next. When you decide to organise an event, there are key stages and strategic planning techniques to help you achieve your goals and objectives. In this course there are five key elements: –
1. The planning stage from idea to action
2. Organising the event, including budgeting, licences, health & safety, staff, hospitality requirements
3. How to promote the event
4. Hosting the event
5. The after event thank-yous and feedback
There are no formal entry requirements for this course but ideally delegates will have some team leading or management experience.
