What will I learn?
Takeaway food and mobile food businesses are great ideas in the current market where home delivery services are booming. For many, the takeaway sector acts as a gateway employer offering first-time employment, training and a rewarding career path, for entrepreneurs. This course will cover the following topics: –
1. Legislation, licensing and certification required to operate a takeaway food business.
2. Creating an attractive menu
3. How to equip your kitchen effectively
4. Purchasing and storing food
5. Social media marketing
6. Online ordering systems
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course but ideally delegates will have some team leading or management experience.

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course.
