About Me
Prior to starting at Sparsholt College I worked in industry, firstly as a zoo keeper before moving to a zoo education role at Colchester Zoo. I have a MSc degree in Animal Behaviour from Exeter University, where I undertook my dissertation research on the impact on environment enrichment on a herd of Rothschild giraffes, and a BSc (Hons) degree from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth where I was part of a group researching the pre and post roosting aggregation behaviour of European starlings.

As part of my role here at Sparsholt I supervise a lot of the third year dissertation projects in particular those with a behaviour or nutrition focus. Sparsholt regularly take student work to present at conferences and recent graduates have presented at both the EAZA nutrition conference and the BIAZA research conference.
