About Me
I am a part-time lecturer on the BSc / FdSc Animal Management degree. Having started off lecturing in farm livestock production, new course developments led to the need for someone to teach data analysis, and I now cover this topic for animal, equine and veterinary nursing students. Much of my time is also spent advising students on how to handle their data for dissertation.

To keep contact with livestock I often take my data classes to do practical data collection on the farm or equine unit as I firmly believe that statistics has no use unless there is a practical application.

To keep myself updated I regularly attend statistics courses at Reading University or with Minitab (the computer software we use for data analysis) and have contributed to college animal behaviour projects which have gone for publication. I also teach the first year students practical farm livestock handling skills.
