About Me
I have recently completed an MBA at the University of Southampton through blended learning whilst working full time at Sparsholt College. It was challenging (but certainly made me appreciate the lives of our mature students) and worthwhile as I teach the business-related units on both the FE and HE programmes; my specialist interests are marketing and especially celebrity endorsement; which was the basis for my dissertation.

I have been teaching at Sparsholt College since August 2006 and I am currently studying at University of Portsmouth to complete the PGCE in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education, having completed my PGCE with Greenwich University in June 2008.

I am a qualified BHS Intermediate Instructor (with UKCC Level 3 accreditation) and enjoy all aspects of teaching riders, both flatwork and jumping. My practical sessions are focused on the students’ gaining/improving their industrial skills to improve their employability upon the completion of their academic studies.

My industrial experience includes riding, grooming and teaching freelance before working at Sparsholt. I compete regularly at Regional, Championship and National levels with my KWPN dressage horse that I have trained up to Advanced Medium to date; I have competed in all major disciplines at Area and Championship level.
