Academic entry requirements

These entry requirements are for guidance only, please contact the International Office if you have any questions about the eligibility of your own qualifications.

If you are studying in an international school teaching A levels or IB please refer to our UK/EU entry qualifications. If you are studying in an international school under the US system, please consult our US entry requirements.

Level 3 Diploma

Please contact the International Office directly to discuss your qualifications.

FdSc foundation degree

A minimum of 17/20 in the Apolytirion with relevant subjects, plus a minimum of 10/20 in mathematics (except for Equine courses), is required for entry to a FdSc course. The FdSc Veterinary Nursing Science course requires a score of 18.5 in the Apolytirion, including a high grade in biology.

BSc(Hons) undergraduate degree

A minimum of 17/20 in the Apolytirion with relevant subjects, plus a minimum of 10/20 in mathematics (except for Equine courses), is required for entry to a BSc(Hons) course.

MSc postgraduate degree

Satisfactory completion of a relevant degree course with a minimum Honours award of 2.2 will normally be considered for entry to an MSc course.

English language requirements

Level 3 Diploma

IELTS (Academic) 5.5 overall, with a minimum 5.0 in any band; Pearson (PTE) 51; Cambridge English Scale Score 162-168 (FCE grade C; CAE level B2).

FdSc foundation degree

IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum 5.5 in any band; Pearson (PTE) 56; Cambridge English Scale Score 169-175 (FCE grade B; CAE level B2).

BSc(Hons) undergraduate degree

IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum 5.5 in any band; Pearson (PTE) 56; Cambridge English Scale Score 169-175 (FCE grade B; CAE level B2).

MSc postgraduate degree

IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall, with a minimum 6.0 in any band; Pearson (PTE) 61; Cambridge English Scale Score 176-185 (FCE grade A; CAE level B2).

Visa requirements for students from Cyprus

Students from Cyprus do not normally require a visa to study in the UK.
