Academic entry requirements
These entry requirements are for guidance only, please contact the International Office if you have any questions about the eligibility of your own qualifications.
If you are studying in an international school teaching A levels or IB please refer to our UK/EU entry qualifications. If you are studying in an international school under the US system, please consult our US entry requirements.
Level 3 Diploma
Five subjects in the 고등학교 졸업장 / 고등학교 과정 수료증” (High School Diploma) including mathematics and a science subject, are appropriate for entry onto a Level 3 Diploma.
FdSc foundation degree
Satisfactory completion of one year at recognised university in a relevant subject in Korea with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, or 준학사 (Junior College Diploma) in a relevant subject with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, may be appropriate for entry onto a FdSc course.
BSc(Hons) undergraduate degree
Satisfactory completion of one year at recognised university in a relevant subject in Korea with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, or 준학사 (Junior College Diploma) in a relevant subject with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, may be appropriate for entry onto a BSc(Hons) course.
MSc postgraduate degree
Satisfactory completion of a relevant undergraduate degree at 2.2 or above. This should have been taught in English, or you should have the MSc English requirements outlined below.
English language requirements
Please note that only Secure English Language Tests are valid for Tier 4 (General) student visas. The location of your nearest SELT provider is listed here.
Level 3 Diploma
IELTS (Academic) 5.5 overall, with a minimum 5.0 in any band; please see here for the list of approved English language tests.
FdSc foundation degree
IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum 5.5 in any band; please see here for the list of approved English language tests.
BSc(Hons) undergraduate degree
IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum 5.5 in any band; please see here for the list of approved English language tests.
MSc postgraduate degree
IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall, with a minimum 6.0 in any band; please see here for the list of approved English language tests.
Visa requirements
