Academic entry requirements
These entry requirements are for guidance only, please contact the International Office if you have any questions about the eligibility of your own qualifications.
If you are studying in an international school teaching A levels or IB please refer to our UK/EU entry qualifications. If you are studying in an international school under the US system, please consult our US entry requirements.
Level 3 Diploma
Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Trung Cấp Chuyên Nghiệp Intermediate Professional Education Diploma); or 5 subjects in the Bằng Tốt Nghiệp Phổ Thông Trung Học (Upper Secondary School Graduation Diploma) may be appropriate for Level 3 Diploma courses
FdSc foundation degree
Successful completion of year one of an undergraduate degree course in a relevant subject from a university in Vietnam may be appropriate for entry onto a FdSc course.
BSc(Hons) undergraduate degree
Successful completion of year one of an undergraduate degree course in a relevant subject from a university in Vietnam may be appropriate for entry onto BSc(Hons) undergraduate degree course.
MSc postgraduate degree
Satisfactory completion of a relevant undergraduate degree at 2.2 or above. This should have been taught in English, or you should have the MSc English requirements outlined below.

Level 3 Diploma
IELTS (Academic) 5.5 overall, with a minimum 5.0 in any band; please see here for the list of approved English language tests.
FdSc foundation degree
IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum 5.5 in any band; please see here for the list of approved English language tests.
BSc(Hons) undergraduate degree
IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall, with a minimum 5.5 in any band; please see here for the list of approved English language tests.
MSc postgraduate degree
IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall, with a minimum 6.0 in any band; please see here for the list of approved English language tests.
Visa requirements
