A conference to link researchers and practitioners in wildlife conservation

 

Introduction

University Centre Sparsholt is delighted to be hosting an exciting one-day conservation-themed conference in October 2020. 

Students across the country undertaking degrees in animal science/management, zoology, wildlife conservation/ecology and marine ecology, often undertake a final-year research project that is related to conservation.

This conference provides undergraduates and postgraduates the opportunity to present research alongside one another. To meet with experienced practitioners, and share their work amongst industry peers.

Conference Aims

  • To welcome students from variety of different universities to create networking links and disseminate work 
  • To inspire both established and early careers researchers for pursue career pathways in wildlife conservation 
  • To learn from established and experienced speakers about current conservation projects 
  • To stimulate further research ideas, collaborations with industry and inspire career decisions.

Submit your Abstract

Early careers researchers (undergraduate and postgraduate) are invited to submit abstracts to present posters or talks, and prizes will be awarded for first place and runners up.
