Areas of Teaching Expertise<\/strong> About Me<\/strong><\/p>\n I have an MSc in Equine Performance, Behaviour and Training from University Centre Sparsholt.\u00a0 I have presented research at conferences, firstly whether Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)\u00a0reduces physiological response in the horse and secondly assessing the viability of weighing riders before competition (BD, BS, BE and Showing) to ensure that riders are a suitable size for the carrying capacity of their horses.\u00a0 I am a Welsh Pony and Cob Society young judge and a British Dressage trainee judge.\u00a0 I hold a Quality Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS) and am a member of the Society of Education and Training qualification.\u00a0 By regularly undertaking CPD and following trends in the industry, I can embed this into my teaching to ensure that my students are holding relevent and recent knowledge before heading out into employment or progressing further with their education.
