{"id":8754,"date":"2015-05-22T13:32:53","date_gmt":"2015-05-22T13:32:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sparsholt.ac.uk\/?page_id=8754"},"modified":"2021-10-08T09:11:46","modified_gmt":"2021-10-08T09:11:46","slug":"advanced-learning-loans","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.sparsholt.ac.uk\/information\/advanced-learning-loans\/","title":{"rendered":"Advanced Learner Loans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you are\u00a0aged\u00a019 or over and are thinking of improving your career options then you can now cover the cost of tuition fees with an Advanced Learner Loan.<\/p>\n<p>Advanced Learner Loans can fund Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 courses such as Access to Higher Education Courses, Diplomas, Extended Diplomas, A Levels and Apprenticeships.<\/p>\n<p>The loans will cover tuition fees and are paid back once the course is completed and you are earning more than \u00a327,295 a year, so there is no upfront cost.<\/p>\n<ul class='terms'>\n    <li>\n    <button type=\"button\" aria-label=\"Toggle accordion\"><h4>Who can apply?<\/h4><\/button>\n    <div class='description'><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Those aged 19 and above at the start of the course. There is no upper age limit.<\/li>\n<li>Those living in the UK on the first day of the course and who have lived in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man for the three years immediately prior to this<\/li>\n<li>UK nationals or those with \u2018settled\u2019 status<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Even if you already hold a similar qualification, e.g. A Levels, you can still apply for your first loan. You must not previously have achieved a level 3 in that course area.<\/p>\n<p>\n<\/div>\n    <\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n<ul class='terms'>\n    <li>\n    <button type=\"button\" aria-label=\"Toggle accordion\"><h4>How do I apply?<\/h4><\/button>\n    <div class='description'><\/p>\n<p>Contact the College\u2019s Admissions team on <strong>01962 797280<\/strong>\u00a0or <strong><a href=\"mailto:courses@sparsholt.ac.uk\">courses@sparsholt.ac.uk<\/a><\/strong> to check availability on the course you need and that you meet the entry requirements. You can then apply for the course and, once offered a place, they will give you all the information you need to complete your loan application.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n    <\/li>\n    <\/ul>\n<ul class='terms'>\n    <li>\n    <button type=\"button\" aria-label=\"Toggle accordion\"><h4>What happens next?<\/h4><\/button>\n    <div class='description'><\/p>\n<p>Student Finance England will confirm your loan and pay your tuition fees to the College once your course has started and you have been attending for at least two weeks.
