MSc Applied Zoo Biology Graduate, Ella Hooper and Zoo Biology Lecturer, James Brereton<\/a> have presented research findings at the annual ABWAK<\/a> (Association of British and Irish Wild Animal Keepers) symposium.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hosted at Flamingoland in North Yorkshire, the 2019 symposium<\/a> welcomed over 150 keepers and students over a fact-filled three days that included talks and practical workshops on a wide range of topics and species.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lecturer, James presented \u2018Mirror, mirror \u2013 what is the most effective form of enrichment for southern ground hornbills?\u2019 whilst Ella, presented the findings of her thesis \u2018Enriching the Lives of Wolves\u2019.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Both talks were very well received by the association and the University Centre Sparsholt team were delighted to take part in such a special annual event.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Become an expert in Zoo Biology by joining us this September.
