Our Expert Staff

- DR CLAIRE CRESSWELL – PhD, MSc, BSc (Hons)
Specialist research interests include agricultural ecology, plant‑invertebrate interactions, water quality protection, avian behavioural ecology and monitoring.
- RUTH PAYNE – MSc, MA, BSc (Hons)
Worked in a variety of agricultural settings, in various countries including New Zealand and Ireland, with main interests in livestock production.
- DR ANDREW FERGUSON – PhD
Previous experience in farm, estate and arable management. Currently working as General Manager for the Leckford Farm Estate, with a focus on biodiversity, soil health, and climate‑positive practices.
- TONY BAYLISS
Over 30 years of experience in farming, manufacturing and distribution. Previous industry roles have included farm and estate management, and commercial manager for Bayer crop science. Currently working as an independent agronomist, providing BASIS and FACTS advice on all crop inputs and crop husbandry.
