On Thursday 4 May, 80 Sparsholt BSc students presented their dissertation project in front of their peers, lecturers and invited guests. It was fantastic to see our students share the outcome of their own research summarised onto a poster so enthusiastically.
All the posters were presented to a very high standard and after thorough discussions between the reviewers, Michelle Rhodes (BSc (Hons) Animal Science and Zoo Biology) was awarded first prize for her information packed and well displayed research analysing problem solving in raccoons.
Will Eagles (BSc (Hons) Equestrian Science and Performance Management) and Hayley Quarrington (BSc (Hons) Wildlife Ecology and Conservation) were awarded second and third place for their excellent work and highly commendable research in their respective areas of study.
A huge congratulations and thank you to all students for presenting their research and expertly answering a wide range of questions from the reviewers.
Join us for our next Open Event on Thursday 15 June or apply now to start this September.
