Our 2023/2024 Open Events will be held on:
All undergraduate and postgraduate degree students are required to pay an annual tuition fee, however if you are a UK national you may be eligible to apply for a Student Loan to help cover tuition fees.
Each year, 400 students make our countryside campus their term-time home in our on-site accommodation, rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Students come from all over the UK and the South – so whether you’re from Kent, Essex, Sussex, Surrey, Berkshire or much further afield you’ll find a friendly and welcoming term time home at Sparsholt.
Although we are not currently offering tours of our on-site accommodation, you can view our Outstanding residential facilities on our 360 Virtual Tour, and find out more on our dedicated webpages here.
Students travel to the Sparsholt Campus from all over the region, so we aim to make the journey as easy and cost effective as possible. Whether you’re getting the train from Southampton, Eastleigh, Totton or Basingstoke or the bus from across Hampshire and the county borders, we’ll help you find the best way to get onto campus.
Starting University and studying a subject that you are passionate about is exciting but it can be daunting too. We know how important it is to stay focused on your studies but recognise that life can get in the way sometimes.
That’s why we have a highly experienced Student Wellbeing Team to ensure you are able to cope with any obstacles life throws at you and to offer information and support. The team includes specialist wellbeing practitioners, Counsellors and nurses. The team are dedicated to listening and empowering you to resolve any challenges you might face to enable you to be as successful as possible at college and beyond.
Whether they live on campus in our Outstanding accommodation halls of residence, or travel in every day, Sparsholt’s 183 Hectare campus has all the amenities to make our students feel at home, and to support them in their studies. Alongside use of Sparsholt facilities such as the Fitness Suite and one-hectare lake, our students have access to a wide range of facilities dedicated to giving them the best student experience possible.
Everyone learns in different ways and what’s the best method of studying for one person may not be for another. Therefore at University Centre Sparsholt we pride ourselves in having a specialist team to assist our degree students with their studies.
