A true hero of Hampshire, Gilbert White was inspired by his local village of Selborne to create his famous writings – The Natural History of Selborne. He was one of the first scientists to note the changing of the seasons, and spot early signs of climate change 300 years ago!
This year, due to the cancellation of RHS Chelsea, we’ve celebrated the hard work of our students and staff online! On RHS CHelsea Flower Show week, we challenged our students who are learning remotely to capture the natural world around them through photos and videos, whilst keeping The Natural Kalendar garden’s key themes in mind – and they certainly delivered!
