We’re so excited to welcome our new and retuning students to our countryside campus in the autumn term. Starting life at college is a big step and can feel daunting, especially this year. So we’ve collected all the information you’ll need to help you feel prepared for joining the Sparsholt College community in September. We hope you find this information useful, but if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch – we’re here to help!
We will remotely auto-enrol as many of our applicants as possible, meaning that most will have no need to come onto campus until term starts in September. Those of you we do need to see will be able to come into college in small numbers and complete your enrolment.
In the week commencing August 7, you will receive an email from the College giving you a link to a web page where you can record your GCSE grades. Please complete this as soon as possible after you receive confirmation of your grades, so that we are able to progress your enrolment. You will then be advised whether we can process your enrolment electronically (meaning you won’t need to come into college until term starts) or if we feel you would benefit from a face-to-face enrolment interview. All on campus interviews for new students will observe social distancing guidelines and be scheduled on an appointment basis in the week following GCSE results.
Please be reassured that any applicant who does not achieve the grades required to meet the conditions of their offer will have their application reviewed, taking into account the grades awarded, prior achievement and references from their teachers, before a final decision is made.
