Conservation is at the heart of everything we do and our courses provide routes into the conservation and countryside management industries, both nationally and internationally, for school leavers and adults seeking a career change.

Countryside students have created new areas of chalk downland on the campus which has helped to significantly increase the Small Blue (Cupido minimus) butterfly population and provides a vital nectar and pollen source for many other insects.
