What will I learn?
You will play an active role in the maintenance and management of the conservation areas across the college estate, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a range of countryside and habitat management activities. Practical tasks may include habitat creation and improvement, monitoring wildlife, maintaining footpaths and boundaries, managing invasive species and carrying out seasonal conservation work to
support biodiversity.
The course combines practical learning with classroom-based theory, helping you develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for further study or employment within the land-based sector.
