Level 3 students recently had the amazing opportunity to visit the Kruger National Park in South Africa and were lucky enough to see the ‘Big Five’ (African lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, African Leopard, black rhinoceros). They enjoyed a morning bush walk with two guides, learning how to track animals and about the ecology of the area.
They also visited Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre where they witnessed the realities of animals that have been hurt, primarily due to poaching. The centre educated the students about what they do and just how vital their role is.
