Sparsholt College recognised and celebrated the achievement of its Level 1 and Level 2 students this week.  Lecturing staff joined proud parents and carers as students collected their certificates and top performing students were awarded course prizes.

Many students completing their courses at Sparsholt will either progressing on to higher level programmes at the College or will be going into employment in to specialist areas they have been trained in.

College Principal Tim Jackson said: “As one of this country’s leading land-based colleges we specialise in training people for a career working in the land and environment.  At the end of each academic year it is always hugely rewarding to see and recognise those students who have successfully completed their courses and are now looking forward to a career in their chosen sector.”

Tim Jackson was joined by the College’s Chairman Governors Michael Coombes who awarded students with their certificates and course prizes.

Sparsholt College is renowned nationally for its courses which include Apprenticeships, Further, Higher and Masters. The College is still taking applications for courses starting in September 2015.  Subject areas include Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Animal Management, Arboriculture and Forestry, Conservation Management, Equine Studies, Fishery Studies, Game and Wildlife, Horticulture and Garden Design, Motor Vehicle, Outdoor Education, Public Services, Sports and Veterinary Nursing.
