Sparsholt College Group is proud to unveil three newly branded double-decker buses, operated by Xelabus, which are set to be a vibrant presence on roads across Hampshire. These eye-catching vehicles will form a vital part of the effective transport network relied upon by many learners travelling to Sparsholt Campus and University Centre Sparsholt from across the region.
Two of the buses feature a dynamic green design and displays learners interacting with their specialist course areas which include: Animal Management, Agriculture, Land & Wildlife, Sport, Outdoor Adventure, and more. They celebrate the incredible breadth of forward-thinking, innovative courses that make Sparsholt Campus a leading land-based further education provider.
The final bus, distinguished by its bold purple base, highlights University Centre Sparsholt and showcases several of the University Centre’s world-class facilities such as the DeLaval robotic milking parlour and vertical farming centre, resources that will support cutting-edge research in the years ahead. In addition, the bus shines a spotlight on the annual UCS graduation ceremony, hosted at the Winchester Cathedral.
Beyond their weekday service for students, the buses will also be deployed for weekend transport operations, including rail replacement services and other scheduled routes, strengthening their role within the local transport infrastructure.
