What will I learn?

You will gain a clear, practical understanding of how Generative AI tools can be used confidently and responsibly in everyday work. The courses focus on immediate, real-world applications rather than technical theory, helping you understand what AI can and can’t do, how to use tools effectively and how to avoid common pitfalls.
You will leave with practical ideas you can apply immediately in your role or business.

This course will teach you how to use Generative AI to support real sales and marketing work – from improving proposals and emails to researching prospects, shaping messages and reducing repetitive admin.
You’ll focus on where AI genuinely helps small teams and where human judgement still leads.

Where will it lead me?

This course provides a solid foundation for using AI more effectively at work or in business and can support career development, increased confidence with digital tools, or improved business efficiency. Learners may wish to progress to more specialist or advanced AI focused courses, apply their learning within their organisation or explore further professional development in digital skills, innovation or business improvement.

You will leave able to apply AI immediately to your day-to-day sales and marketing work. It also provides a solid base for more advanced or wider business use of AI.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.

No technical knowledge or background is required. This course is suitable for professionals who are curious about AI and want to use it in a practical, ethical and time saving way. It is particularly relevant for business owners, managers and those looking to improve productivity, communication or decision making at work. A basic level of digital confidence and a willingness to experiment are helpful.

Suitable for SME owners, sales managers, account managers and anyone responsible for sales or marketing without a specialist team.

Entry Requirements Age

Applicants must be 19+ on the start date of the course in order to apply/enrol on the course.

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course.
