What will I learn?

This qualification is aimed at practising or aspiring managers, who supervise or manage a team

The following units will be delivered

Unit 331 Approaches to Managing and Leading People and Teams (70 TUT)
Unit 330 Organisational Awareness for First Line Managers (80 TUT)
Unit 332 Stakeholder Communication for First Line Managers (80 TUT)
Unit 333 Delivering Organisational Activities (60 TUT)
Unit 337 Professional Development as a First Line Manager (70 TUT)
Unit 340 Supporting People Throughout the Employee Life Cycle (60 TUT)

Learners will need to submit an assignment after each unit to gain the qualification

Where will it lead me?

This qualification provides an opportunity to progress onto Level 5 Management and Leadership or L3 Coaching and Mentoring after suitable experience has been gained.

Entry Requirements

The CMI does not specify entry requirements for this course but candidates will need a good standard of written English (at least level 2 standard) to undertake the assignments. Learners may be invited to a telephone or Teams interview before being accepted on the course.

Entry Requirements Age

Applicants must be 19+ on 31/8 in the academic year of the course start date in order to apply/enrol on the course.

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course.
