What will I learn?

This course will introduce you to the range of native species in the UK, their habitats and the legislation that protects them. You will learn about the different survey techniques, the kit and equipment used for surveying, how to detect the presence of bats and as dusk approaches you will get the opportunity to put this knowledge into practice.

Where will it lead me?

This course provides the basic skills and knowledge to get you started on bat survey techniques and can lead towards achieving a Bat Survey licence
