What will I learn?

The ITIL® 4 Foundation course introduces the ITIL® 4 framework. The training allowing candidates to understand IT service management through a comprehensive operating model that covers the creation, delivery, and continuous improvement of technology-enabled products and services.

It examines IT Service Management via a Service Value System (SVS), offering a holistic, end-to-end perspective on how to contribute to business value. This approach incorporates principles from Lean IT, Agile, and DevOps models.
Completing this training prepares you for the ITIL® 4 Foundation Certification exam and opens up the rest of the ITIL® 4 Framework.

By the end of this ITIL4 Foundation course, you will have:
? Been introduced to the ITIL® 4 Service Value System,
? Examined the Seven Guiding Principles of ITIL® 4,
? Learned about ITIL® 4’s Service Value Chain,
? Explored the four dimensions of Service Management,
? Studied the 34 ITIL® 4 practices, with an emphasis on the key 15, and
? Been shown key concepts from Lean IT, Agile, DevOps, and Organisational Change Management, and their importance in delivering business value.

While there are no mandatory prerequisites, having experience in IT services is advantageous.

Applicants must be 19+ on the start date of the course in order to apply/enrol on the course.

· Existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course
· Learners aged 19-24 with an EHCP
