Principles of Cyber Security NCFE – Certificate – Level 2

What will I learn?

In an increasingly digital world, cyber security is fast becoming a main concern for many organisations.
With complex online scams and cyber crime, it’s essential that organisations have an understanding of preventative measures to maintain cyber security, including techniques and security checks needed to store data securely.

This online course is a key starting point for anyone looking to gain a greater understanding or build upon their existing knowledge of Cyber Security issues.

Our popular distance learning courses allow you to study for a recognised qualification that is of value to your work and personal development and is a great route to take if you are looking to further develop existing skills (provided you are resident in England). The courses are Level 2 qualifications, accredited by NCFE, an acknowledged leader in the field of distance learning.

Where will it lead me?

Once you have completed your distance-learning course you will receive a certificate of completion. You will also have the option of enrolling onto another course if you wish to continue learning new skills.

Free if aged 19+ (if aged 19-23 must already have a full L2 or above qualification to be eligible)^

Our Level 2 online learning courses are free to eligible* learners aged 24+ regardless of previous qualifications. Eligible* learners aged 19 to 23 can access free courses if they have already achieved a full Level 2 qualification or equivalent. learners aged 19 to 23 who have not already achieved a full Level 2 qualification, may be subject to costs. Please contact the College for further clarification.

*Due to funding restrictions, we are unable to enrol to this course, for Free, anyone who doesn’t live in England, isn’t a UK resident^ or who lives in the local authority areas^ of:

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started their course.
