What will I learn?
Positive Psychology is a branch of psychology focused on human flourishing and wellbeing. There is extensive evidence that links high performance at work to a positive working environment, and a focus on helping people to appreciate, use, and develop their strengths.
This course will introduce you to some of key findings from applied positive psychology. You will learn practical techniques to help you develop your own effectiveness and wellbeing at work.
This workshop will also help you to enable a flourishing workplace, as a leader and manager. You’ll learn tools for working with teams, to help you build a positive culture. An understanding of positive psychology can help you provide an environment where people thrive at work and perform at their best.
You will learn:
Key findings from the field of positive psychology research, and how they can be applied in the workplace
How to identify and use your strengths at work
Ways in which positive psychology can help you to:
? Stay focused and motivated to achieve your goals
? Build effective working relationships

This course is designed for leaders and managers, and those who aspire to leadership and management roles.
Entry Requirements Age
Applicants must be 19+ on 31/8 in the academic year of the course start date in order to apply/enrol on the course.

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course.
