What will I learn?

Safe tractor operation in agriculture, forestry and horticulture is an essential part of a challenging area of work. Course features include an emphasis on safe operating techniques, highlighting the dangers associated with such equipment.

There is a separate tractor loader use section to the qualification, which we may be able to provide subject to candidates having some existing tractor driving experience. Please notify us at enrolment if you are interested in training for the loader part of the qualification too.

Please wear safety boots, preferably boiler-suit overalls, but old clothes are ok as you will get dirty.

Further details of the course content which covers the assessment can be found at:

Where will it lead me?

The course leads to the NPTC Certificate of Competence in Tractor Operations for successful candidates.
