Using a Chainsaw from a Rope and Harness C&G – Certificate of Competence – Level 2

What will I learn?

Candidates will learn how to safely remove limbs from the tree canopy, from a rope and harness. This course includes the assessment

Entry Requirements

You will need to be 17+ and must have completed Tree Climbing and Rescue/Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross cut/Fell and Process Small Trees to be able to take this course. This is a physically demanding course.

All tools and safety equipment are provided free for the duration of the course.

Due to funding restrictions this course is not available to existing full time Sparsholt College/Andover College students aged 16, 17 or 18 (or 19-24 with an EHCP) on the 31/8 in the year they started/start their course.
