Emily Leese – Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles
Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always wanted to be a mechanic, my passion is for classic cars. Sparsholt was recommended to me by the motor museum where I volunteer. I came to a taster day when I was in Year 10 and fully enjoyed it. I was impressed by the workshops and also liked the setting the College is in.
I have really enjoyed the course, particularly the practical aspects and would definitely recommend it to other people thinking about studying motor vehicle. Next year I’m going to continue on the Level 3 course here at Sparsholt and am then hoping to get an Apprenticeship in classic car restoration.
