I chose to study at Sparsholt College because I recently got into horses and wanted to learn more before buying my own and then fell in love and decided to work in the industry. While on the course I’ve been learning all about horses, mucking out I’ve been given the opportunities to run events for the college as well as groom for the college which will set me up in the industry to allow me to go out and groom for people or if I want to go into the event sector I have an understanding.
The facilities at Sparsholt are amazing, we’ve got horse walkers, solariums we’ve got three great arenas we have a variety of horses to learn to ride on, we get given the opportunity to build show jump courses as well as dressage arenas which will help you go out into the industry.
Sparsholt’s helped me prepare for my future in the equine industry as the lecturers are amazing they help you so much, they have such an amazing background and knowledge that any question you have one of the technician or yard staff will be able to answer. I would 110% recommend Sparsholt College to anyone it’s such a great place to learn if you have a background in the equine industry, you can learn so much more, if you don’t have a background you learn so much here anyway yeah it’s just been amazing really.
