Future Plans: I will be working over the summer at C&O Tractors
“I first heard about Sparsholt through my brother who studied Game and Wildlife here. I heard great feedback about it from others and compared to other colleges it stood out the most. I joined Level 2 Agriculture and progressed from there to Agricultural Engineering. I loved both courses and found my tutors to be very welcoming and friendly.
One of my top skills I have learnt is welding, especially arc, which I fell in love with the first time I tried it. It will help massively in the industry I’m going in to with jobs or day-to-day problems that need fixing.
I have loved my work placement at C&O Tractors, I’ve met great people who have taught me so many new things. They’ve already offered me a summer job and I can’t wait to start.
Sparsholt has helped start me off in this career and helped me learn so many new things, it’s given me so much more confidence in myself as a person. I’ll miss is the atmosphere here, especially in the workshop and out on the farm. Everyone knows each other and it’s nice. I can’t thank the lecturers enough for how much they’ve helped me.”
